U Chan Aye, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs participated in the ASEAN Senior Officials’ Meeting which was held on 30 September 2021, via video conference from Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nay Pyi Taw.
The Meeting was chaired by H.E. Ms. Emaleen Abd Rahman Teo, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Brunei Darussalam, and was attended by the Senior Officials from ASEAN Member States, the Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for the ASEAN Political and Security Community and representatives from ASEAN.
The Meeting discussed matters relating to the implementation of Brunei’s priorities as the current chair of ASEAN, the program of Activities of the 38th and 39th ASEAN Summits and related Summit, the progress and latest development of the ASEAN and Dialogue Partners Cooperation, the recommendations for the review of the ASEAN Charter, the follow up to the 54th ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting and the sub-regional cooperation.
