Get eVisa Approval Within 4 Steps

1. FILL IN THE SECURE ONLINE VISA FORM.
Applicant is required to enter all the necessary information in the visa form

2. CONFIRM AND PAY
Applicant needs to verify all the information entered is correct before proceeding to the next step. Make the payment with Credit Card. Acknowledgement email with application reference code will be sent to applicant's email.

3. GET APPROVAL LETTER
Approval process may take minimum 3 working days. Applicant will receive eVisa approval letter via email once approved. Print out the approval letter and bring along with passport. You will need to present it upon arrival.

4. GET EVISA STAMPED UPON ARRIVAL.
Upon arrival to Myanmar Immigration checkpoint, present eVisa approval letter and passport to Immigration officer and get the passport stamped.

Terms & Conditions

1. The visa processing fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
2. Only passports will be eligible for e-visa. Travel documents will not be accepted. If your e-visa was obtained with travel documents, you will be denied entry to Myanmar at the immigration check points.
3. Apart from the profession stated in your visa application, you are not allowed to work or engage in any form of paid or unpaid employment during your visit.
4. Legal action will be taken against those who violate or contravene any provision of the existing laws, rules and regulations of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
5. Applicants are prohibited from traveling to restricted areas without seeking prior permission.
6. It is important to note that the Approval letter is not a confirmed Visa letter.
7. The Approval letter is valid up to 90 days from the date of issue.
8. In the event that your application is rejected, the reason of rejection will not be disclosed.
9. For regular Tourist and Business Visa, processing time will take minimum 3 working days (Myanmar time), excluding weekends and official Myanmar Gazetted Holidays.
10. In all cases, processing time starts when an acknowledgement email is sent upon submission of application AND successful payment.
11. Applicant shall abide by the laws of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and shall not interfere in the internal affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.

Notice to Tourist

1. You will need the following before you apply:
a. Your passport validity must have at least (6) months.
b. You have to upload one COLOR PHOTO (4.6 cm X 3.8 cm) taking during last (3) months.
c. You have to upload your Passport Bio-Data Page.
d. A proof of return ticket from Myanmar must be attached to the application.
e. A proof of hotel booking must be attached to the application. Tourists must stay in registered hotels, motels, inns, guest house and resort during your stay in Myanmar.
f. Visa, Master, JCB credit cards for the Online Visa payment.

2. Tourist Visa processing information :

a. The validity of eVisa approval letter is 90 days from the issued date. If it is expired, entry will be denied.
b. Length of stay is (28) days from the date of arrival in Myanmar.
c. eVisa service is non refundable.
d. You will receive an email acknowledgement within 1 hour after successful payment.
e. The processing time is minimum 3 working days (Myanmar time) for normal Tourist Visa. In all cases, processing time starts when the application acknowledgement e-mail is sent, after application is submitted and online payment is successful.

3. If the applicant has child(ren) under (7) years old on the same passport, you have to put the name of that child, date of birth in the minor section of the application form.

4. If the decision is not allowed to entry, you may return by the same flight.

5. Only passports will be eligible for e-visa. Travel documents will not be accepted. If your e-visa was obtained with travel documents, you will be denied entry to Myanmar at the immigration check points.

6. There are Restricted Areas for Foreigners and Tourist travelling in the Country. For more information, please visit mip.gov.mm. Information on restricted area, please go to mip.gov.mm/RestricetdArea and tourism.gov.mm/mm/traveller-tips.

7. eVisa is a only valid for a single entry. Re-entry will require a new visa.

8. Currently, passengers with eVisa are only permitted to enter via following ports:
a. Yangon International Airport
b. Mandalay International Airport
c. Nay Pyi Taw International Airport
d. Kawthaung International Land Border Checkpoint

9. If you are visiting Myanmar via cruise, please contact your tour agent for Pre-arrangement Visa on Arrival. You will not be able to use eVisa to enter Myanmar via seaport.

10. Effective from 01 September 2022, ordinary passport holders from the following countries do not require a visa for tourist visits of up to Exemption Period if entering and departing from Yangon, Mandalay, or Naypyidaw International Airports. If you would like to stay in Myanmar over Exemption Period, please apply for the appropriate e-Visa.

11. Effective from 01 September 2022, ordinary passport holders of Singapore citizens do not require a visa for tourist visits of up to 30 days and you can enter and depart from all International Checkpoints.

NOTICE TO BUSINESS VISA APPLICANTS

1. Please note that to qualify for a Business Visa, you must be invited by a registered Myanmar company or a registered Chamber of Commerce Association. NGO/INGO's invitation letters are not eligible. To apply, an invitation letter and a company registration certificate of the company inviting you must be submitted. The invitation letter must be addressed to you and state the purpose and the timeframe of your visit. The inviting company’s status in Myanmar Companies Online (MyCO) must be registered.
